This year we're representing police and first responders everywhere who have faced, are facing, or may one day face mental health challenges as a result of their selfless dedication to others. In the last decade suicide rates amongst serving police officers in Australia has doubled. This means that they are now three times more likely to die as a result of suicide than in the course of duty- let that sink in. Our goal is to shed light on the mental health adversities faced by Police and First Responders alike, whilst influencing positive change in how we discuss, provide support and seek help for our mental health. Over-represented and under-supported, help us be a part of the change.
