Jackson Harding & Christopher Woolley are teaming up to raise awareness this Movember. We will be running a total distance of 60km each for the 60 men we loose each hour around the globe to suicide on 26.11.2022. Jackson’s motivation: A few years back I had a near death experience. On my road back to health I saw how fitness helped me unlock my true potential and drive in life. It's a shame for someone to never get the opportunity to scrape the surface of their true capabilities because life was stripped away far too early from them. What I have realised is that being healthy both mentally and physically is a privilege and it should never be taken for granted as the reality is life can be taken away from you in a split second. People would kill to be in the position where they have control over these variables in life. Consider this the next time you want to skip something that may be temporarily hard but will ultimately benefit you. Keep showing up! Christopher’s motivation: Movember is the leading charity changing the face of men's health, and this Movember I'm joining them. Together we can make a difference for men's health – in prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention. Help me stop men dying too young. What better way to raise awareness than to do something hard and suffer. I am coming together with my good mate Jacko, we will be running 60km around narrabeen lakes to help make a meaningful impact on men’s health, mental health and suicide prevention. Being a first responder, this is close to my heart, let’s get together and make a difference!
